When more than one team is entered into a division, LYS will configure an 'Academy' in PlayMetrics to organize the teams. All coaches should have access to the Academy. A 'Player Pool' is used to assign players to the teams within the Academy.
Coaches should have access to edit the player pool assignment, which is intended to last the duration of the season. Only one player pool assignment can be active at any time. A player pool can be set up so that kids can be on more than one team, which is sometimes useful if you have a group participating on an extra futsal team.
Typically coaches will have a static player pool assignment, and use guest players to assign kids to play in an extra game on occasion.
