LYS has sponsored equipment to extend the practice time past sunset on the Chapman turf field. This equipment is effective but costly. If the club finds that the lighting can be used effectively without loss or damage, similar equipment will be made available for other fields.

A jackery power source is available at a nearby home. Coaches must return the power source and leave it charging after each practice. Please understand that this power pack is valuable and may be a target for theft. LYS will scrap the loan program if the equipment is damaged or lost.
This video shows the process for securing and stowing the portable lights at the turf field.
Please practice setup before using the equipment the first time. Do not use the lights unless you can securely strap the tripod to the bench as shown in the video. Unsecured lights are liable to fall and cause injury.
