SafeSport is a US Soccer requirement for all adults working with young athletes. US Soccer is mandated to verify training as are ALL youth sports with national governing bodies.

There is a long history of abuse by coaches who volunteer as a way to gain access to vulnerable young people. All of us need to know what this looks like, so we can prevent it when we see it.

PYSA has recorded a short video showing how to access the training through SportsConnect. If you have already taken the training (eg for lacrosse or LYS) you can upload the certificate with this method instead of launching the course.
